Norman came to us after being dumped in Perry, Georgia. Although we do not know his true story, his injuries and condition speak for themselves. He is covered in lacerations from dog bites. He is covered in sores, is extremely emaciated and arrived to the vet hospital extremely dehydrated. In addition to all of these injuries, his teeth have been shaved or pulled. He is a walking poster child of what we call a BAIT DOG! Although he was mistreated, he holds no grudges and is the sweetest dog who just yearns for love. Due to his traumatic start at life, we will selective on his adoption to ensure he goes to a great home.

These pictures were taken in June, 2016. We will update pictures to show his progress shortly.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Norman, a Fort Valley Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Fort Valley, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Fort Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
