Callisto is a wonderful basset mix girl looking for a forever home. She is super friendly and never meets a stranger. She loves to get attention and has great house manners. She is going to be a wonderful family dog! Calli is very affectionate and likes to cuddle. One of her favorite things is to snuggle up beside you on the couch when watching TV. She loves being outside and will enjoy having a fenced in yard or safe deck or porch to hang out with the family. She likes kong toys, squeaky toys and nylabones. Callisto does like to talk - really, she will carry on conversations with you and can be quite vocal until she settles in. It can be kind of cute but is not appropriate for townhome or apartment living. Callisto enjoys hanging out with our other dogs. She interacts calmly with them and has occasionally found a friend that likes to roll around on the floor or in the grass with her. She has done ok with our cats and should do fine with children. Calli walks nicely on leash and will enjoy making new friends with her family. If you get the answering machine it is best to call back instead of leaving a message. Meetings are held at our adoption center in downtown Mocksville by appointment only. Callisto is a year and a half old. She is crate-trained and housebroken. Calli weighs 23 lbs. She is spayed, microchipped and up to date on her vaccinations.
