I am already spayed and up to date with shots.

Ruby's Story...
Who can resist those ears!!? Ruby is a sweet girl who needs a furever home, she's spent enough time in shelters. She has a great temperament, and loves walks. We think Ruby had an injured trachea at some point in her life, as she is uncomfortable walking with a regular collar, so we use a harness on her and she seems to be much more comfortable with that.

Come and meet me!!! We have open adoptions every Saturday from 10 to 2 or make an appointment by calling 610 392-4804 or email clong@thesanctuarypa.org

NOTE: Please call first, as this dog may be in a foster home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ruby, a Breinigsville Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Coonhound for sale in Breinigsville, or seeking a Coonhound dog from a breeder in Breinigsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Breinigsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Breinigsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Coonhound breeders who help with Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Breinigsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
