My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

5-year-old Jasper came to us from a shelter south of Houston. This little guy has a very distinctive blue ticked coat. He is 13+ inches tall and a perfect 25 pounds. Jasper was positive for heartworms, but has recovered from treatment without any problems. He is now ready to find himself that perfect family that will give him the love that he has been missing all of his life.

Jasper is housebroken with the use of a dog door and is crate trained. His house manners are now excellent and he has full run of his foster home without getting into trouble. He is first to hop in his kennel at feeding time. This smart boy knows that treats is about to be handed out!

Jasper interacts well with his foster siblings and will occasionally join in on some of the games, but is much happier exploring the yard by himself or snuggling up to someone on the couch. He does not like to share his coveted space next to his foster Mom, but is learning to share!

Jasper has a laid back personality and will do well as an only dog with a family that is looking for a sweet and loving companion. He can be loud when he hears or sees something on “his” street, so may not be good in an apartment. Apply today to come and meet this great little man
