Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Knox is one of our handsome and sweet seniors. He gets along fine with all dogs and humans of all ages. We're not sure how he is with cats, although he's so good natured, we imagine him being great with all living creatures. Knox likes to be buried under blankets on the couch or in a comfy dog bed and he's even crate trained too. We can't understand why his owners would have abandoned him at their home when they were evicted. When the landlord discovered two sweet, friendly Dachshunds left behind, he contacted animal control to come pick them up. Fort Bend County had to hold the dogs for 30 days in order of allow the owners time to claim them back. Thankfully they never did, and Knox became a DREAM Dachsie where he was able to have the dental cleaning he needed so badly! He was already neutered and luckily is heartworm negative, indicating at one time he did receive proper care. Knox is a really wonderful little guy and would transition very easily into a new loving home.
