Coco's Story...
Coco is a 9 month young marbled tabby who is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. He came to us in August, thin and suffering from a cold. His fosters have nurtured him and loved him and he is one healthy big boy now and he's been waiting patiently for his forever human.

He is a very inquisitive boy who loves to play with other kitties. He enjoys cuddling and grooming as well, so another kitty in the home would do him good. He has not been exposed to dogs. He hasn't been the best cuddler to date but he does love pats and will come on his own terms. He was shy at our adopt a thon, so it didn't show his true character, but he was very gentle. We truly believe once he finds his humans, he will be very loyal. His markings are just stunning!

If you think you could open your home to this handsome devil, please email to request an application.

Adoption fee: $85.00 (includes neuter, vaccines & microchip)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Coco, a Lindsay Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Lindsay, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Lindsay.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lindsay already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lindsay breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lindsay paves the way for another one to be saved.
