Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Josey is a 6 month old female Border Collie/Shepherd mix with a very sweet and playful personality. She loves to play with other dogs and toys but she enjoys her afternoon naps the most. She is good in the house and has only had a couple of minor accidents in her foster home but that was when it was new to her. She sleeps all night in a crate by her Foster Mom's bed. She was very quick to learn how to use a dog door and loves the freedom of being able to go in and out when she needs to. Josey knows "sit" and does quite well on a leash. She is not comfortable around loud banging noises or things like a lawnmower, leaf blowers etc. However she doesn't mind the vacuum cleaner or normal household noises. She would be better suited for a home without children as she doesn't like the quick movements or their sometimes loud playing. She takes a while to warm up to visitors and new people but is not aggressive towards anyone.
Josey will need to have a home where someone is willing and able to take her to puppy classes to make her a well-rounded and well-behaved adult.
Josey is up to date on her vaccinations, is spayed and microchipped and ready to go into her forever home.
She is being fostered in East San Diego County.
