Hunter is at FOLAS in Linden,NJ
folas.org or firstname.lastname@example.org
Hunter is a sweet and playful 4 year old Foxhound. Hunter spent most of his life as an outdoor dog but has learned a lot very quickly while at FOLAS. Hunter is very food motivated and this makes learning lots of FUN!
Hunter loves to run, play and go for walks, he most enjoys being on a 15-20 foot lead so he can explore at his leisure. Once he is tired he loves to get belly rubs and really enjoys being in the company of humans. Hunter is looking for an active family who has a big back yard for him to run and play. As is typical with hound dogs, he has an excellent sense of smell and has the typical hound dog howl. Hunter is not suited for apartment living. Hunter seems to like the company of other dogs his size and would like a family with older children or an adult home, INCLUDING ONE WITH A 6 FOOT FENCE PLEASE!
"Prior to Hunter joining the FOLAS family, he didn’t have many opportunities to socialize with other dogs. He has come a long way. When properly introduced, he interacts well with dogs having a neutral and relaxed demeanor.
Given a loving environment and positive experiences – Hunter is blossoming into the great dog we all knew he could be."
Hunter is a little too interested in cats and would need a home with no kitty cats.
Hunter is a perfect gentlemen in the home and is housetrained.
