Chandra's Story...
About Chandra
Chandra is a sweet loving solid white Persian female who was born in the spring of 2013. Chandra was rescued from a high kill shelter. She is a tiny bit shy at first but very very affectionate once she gets used to you. She would like a quiet home where she can be the center of attention. Chandra enjoys being held and is most likely a lap cat given the chance. She is spayed, current on shots and FIV/FELV negative.

You can meet and visit with many of our cats at the AARF House (311 Harvey St, Winston Salem) during our adoption fair hours. Go to www.aarfanimals.org for information about our adoption fair hours and adoptions.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chandra, a Winston-Salem Persian cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Persian for sale in Winston-Salem, or seeking a Persian cat from a breeder in Winston-Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Winston-Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Winston-Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Persian breeders who help with Persian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Winston-Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
