Percy's Story...
Percy is a healthy boy and needs a special home. He found himself dumped in a feral colony when he was young, and contracted the leukemia virus while there. He's a super healthy boy but will have a shorter lifespan, typically a Felv positive cat will live 3 to 5 years. He loves playing "spin the ball" and is approaching pro status. His stop and start the ball technique is amazing! He needs a home with other Felv+ cats or with dogs only. Feline leukemia is only contagious to other cats and right now, his buddies are four dogs ranging from 85 to 8 pounds. We'd love to introduce you to him and we can explain more about feline leukemia. More than anything, we want Percy to enjoy a happy home for all of his life, no matter how many years that is :). Email to talk with Dana. Percy is fostered in Huntsville, AL

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Percy, a Knoxville Siamese cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in Knoxville, or seeking a Siamese cat from a breeder in Knoxville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Knoxville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Knoxville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Knoxville paves the way for another one to be saved.
