Jazzi (Rico)'s Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Jazzi (Rico)'s Story...
Jazzi and Rico were surrendered by their owner and are a little stressed and confused but being able to keep them together has helped reduce their depression and anxiety. They are the very best of friends and will only be adopted out together. Jazzi is 9 years old and Rico is 10. They are ok with older children over 13. Jazzi and Rico love to go on walks and love playtime outdoors with our M.H.S. volunteers.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jazzi (Rico), a Council Bluffs Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in Council Bluffs, or seeking a Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Council Bluffs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Council Bluffs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Council Bluffs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Council Bluffs paves the way for another one to be saved.
