Kipling is special in the fact that he is deaf. He has also been experiencing very minor seizures in the past couple months. They are not bad enough to even think about starting any medications and seizures are, unfortunately, common in older dogs. It's never a good thing but often something than may never have a complete diagnosis. If they become more frequent or get worse, further veterinary action will be needed.
Despite his special needs, His personality is absolutely wonderful!!! He is a fluffy, soft lap dog that loves to be held and petted! He also loves to shop!!! He was our entertainment at our last adoption event. He would trot (yes, he has the funniest little bouncy trot) through the store aisles, smelling absolutely everything and thinking he was free to walk to shelves! It was hilarious!
Kipling knows when you are talking to him as he watches your mouth move. If you talk to him while he's looking at you, you'll get him to "talk" back with funny little noises!
He is super sweet and friendly and really deserves a great home!! He's a very low-key boy and would make a great companion to a low-activity family!
We will restrict his adoption to "no children" as he can be easily injured having such a long back.
If you are interested in adopting, please complete an adoption application located at
All Dogs Unlimited Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on all shots, and are given a monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Upon adoption, all vet records and any current medications are provided to the adopter.
THE SUBMISSION OF YOUR APPLICATION DOES NOT GUARANTEE AN ADOPTION NOR DOES IT OBLIGATE YOU TO ADOPT. Multiple applications are accepted for any available pet and a home is chosen that is the best match between the available pet and the potential furever family. Your application will be processed as quickly as possible and if approved, a home visit would be scheduled. No adoption is final until an Adoption Agreement is presented and agreed to by both parties.
Our goal is to find the right match of our dogs to their new family so all involved are furever happy! Questions: email firstname.lastname@example.org
And THANK YOU for considering a rescue dog for your family!
