Sissy's Story...
Sunshine on your shoulders! Sissy is such a sunny faced, sweet burst of love and energy and she's YOURS for the taking! Adopted out as a teen, her bubbly, extroverted personality was a wee bit too much for her home which had senior dogs and also very tiny dogs who did not appreciate her "can do" and "must play" personality. Sissy is a happy, social girl who loves being the center of attention. A great match for an active family pre-stocked with kids and playful dogs, Sissy's tail would be wagging non-stop at such an incredible opportunity to be needed on such a level. A go-go girl in her approach to life, Sissy will encourage you to explore new terrain, catch some fresh air and show you unconditional love. Doesn't get much better than having Sissy by your side. 1-2 years, 55 lbs

Act quickly to adopt Sissy. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sissy, a Darlington Boxer/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Labrador Retriever for sale in Darlington, or seeking a Boxer/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Darlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Darlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Darlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Boxer/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Darlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
