My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MAGGIE HAS BEEN ADOPTED!Maggie Sue is looking for a new family to love, could it be yours?! This beautiful Black Lab mix was originally found as a stray, so we don't know much about her past, but she seems to be a typical Retriever, social, energetic and very happy to make new friends! We are estimating her to be just about a year old. Like most young retrievers, she loves to play and will be a great match for an active family. She is currently awaiting rescue/adoption from an over burdened pound in southern IL. Pal's Place works closely with them to help place their dogs into forever homes. We have only observed her in a kennel environment so we cannot say for sure if she's housetrained, adopters/fosters must be willing to potentially take on this task. Her previous owners reported she was housebroken, but she may need a brief refresher after living in a kennel. We would love to help her out, but all of our foster homes are filled. Pal's Place has no shelter facility and relies entirely on foster homes and paid boarding. We can only save as many dogs as we have adoptive or foster homes for! If interest is shown in her, Maggie Sue can be transported to Chicago. She will be fully vetted and prepared for adoption or a foster home. If seriously interested in possibly adopting or fostering (fosters must be in or very near Chicago) this deserving gal, please email Palsplace1@hotmail.com**PLEASE NOTE: IF INTERESTED IN FOSTERING YOU MUST BE IN CHICAGO OR IN A NEIGHBORING SUBURB**

•Maggie's adoption donation is $275. This donation helps to cover her spay, initial vaccines, initial worming and microchip. Pal's Place relies solely on donations to care for the pets in our care. Your donation also helps save other animals like Maggie from euthanasia.

• Please email Palsplace1@hotmail.com for an adoption application and please put the name of the dog in the subject line. Please be sure to check your spam/junk folder; sometimes the applications end up in there!

• All of our dogs are in foster homes are can be seen BY APPOINTMENT ONLY, after an approved application has been received. To receive more info please email palsplace1@hotmail.com. Email is the preferred method of contact and is the quickest way to receive a response. We cannot place holds on our dogs, please do not contact us until you are prepared to adopt.
