MILEY's Story...
Miley is just as happy as can be. This girl has a great personality and is fun and playful! Everyone loves her and she loves everyone. She knows to sit and stay when she is told and walks nicely on a leash. She also loves to ride in a car. She went to offsite adoptions and was a very well behaved young lady and stole the hearts of the volunteers who sat with her. Miley is 6 years old and weighs 52 pounds. Miley came to the shelter as a lost dog on Aug. 8th and is currently available for adoption. She is micro-chipped and up to date with shots. Miley has been spayed and tested negative for heart worms. She is in Run 835 and her ID is 588012.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

MILEY, a Marietta Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
