Clementine's Story...
Clementine and Magnolia were found abandoned in a rural area in West TN. They were hungry and scared so thankfully a nice person took them in and they reached out to us. Clementine and Magnolia are about 11 weeks old, extremely social, full of puppy playfulness and just overall goofballs. They are in our PADDLE Program where inmates at a local jail raise and care for them until they can be fully vetted and adopted out. They are learning basic manners and are being trained to puppy pads. These girls are in West TN but will be transported to your area once an adoption is finalized. If you'd like to add Clementine or Magnolia to your family, please visit our website at www.goofyfootrescue.org and fill out an online application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Clementine, a Southington Labrador Retriever/Beagle puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Beagle for sale in Southington, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Beagle puppy from a breeder in Southington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Southington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Southington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Beagle breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Southington paves the way for another one to be saved.
