Sophia's Story...
Name: Sophia
DOB: ~ 4/27/16
Breed/Color: DSH/ Tabby/Tortoiseshell (Torbie)
Sex: Female

Here is the gorgeous Sophia! She is the most skeptical of the litter so it takes her a short time to get comfortable around new situations. She is very playful and energetic and will sleep curled at your feet or on your lap! She loves to play with her sisters and any toy that requires a battery. She is a bird watcher, she likes kids and other cats, overall mellow personality and would make a great addition to any home! Ideally, Sophia would be able to go home with one of her sisters (Dorothy, Rose, & GG) as they are all the best of friends.

Adoption Fees: All of our cats are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, vaccinated (as age appropriate), tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV, given flea/tick & heartworm preventative, & fecal tested (dewormed if needed) before being adopted out. Sophia's adoption fee is $160 including tax; adoptive homes are given all vet records at the adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sophia, a Plymouth Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Plymouth, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Plymouth.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Plymouth already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Plymouth breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Plymouth paves the way for another one to be saved.
