My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello. My name is Kat and I am a young (estimated to be 1 year 3 months old), female medium mix dog. The volunteers here at the shelter believe I look like I have Labrador Retriever and some kind of terrier in me. I don't know - I'm just a beautiful girl!

I arrived at the shelter back in mid April 2016 after someone found me living under the porch of an abandoned house. Some very nice people rescued me and I arrived at Gail's Pets. A week later I gave birth to 14 puppies! Unfortunately the first 5 didn't make it because I didn't know what to do. But, my surviving 9 puppies are doing great. They are big and healthy. I was finally able to wean them and then I had to wait for my milk to dry up before I could be spayed. All of that is now done, so I am looking for a furrever home.

I get along great with other dogs. I'm currently in a pen with a 5 month old puppy and we are getting along great. I also love to go for walks.

(It was very hot on the day I was having my pictures taken and I was panting alot. I heard they are going to take some new pictures of me soon.)
