Shaggy here! I'm what you might call "uniquely adorable" with my big body, tiny, little ears, and scruffy coat! A lot of dogs might think the Muskingum County Dog Warden & Adoption Center is a miserable place, but honestly, life on the "outside" was way worse for me. When the wardens found me, I was completely covered in fleas and suffering so much I could barely stand it! Luckily, the wonderful volunteers and amazing people at Lucy's Pet Grooming cleaned me all up and even gave me a stylish bandanna to wear around (I think the other dogs might be jealous :) ) I am super calm in my kennel, a little spunky when I first get out for a walk, and am getting along just fine with the other dogs that I have met....I even get along with the kids! What more can you ask for? Did I mention that I am adorable?

Adoption fee is $105 which includes spay/neuter, combo and rabies shots, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm test and dog tags. (Although some of the dogs come to the pound spayed or neutered, most do not. If you adopt a dog that has not yet been spayed/neutered, we will set up an appointment for the dog to be spayed/neutered before it can leave the facility.)
