***COURTESY POST***This beautiful black & white boxer mix with the little bit of pink on her nose will steal your heart when you see how adorable she is. Chloe is 2+ years old & weighs right about 52lbs, so she’s a big enough dog for you to play & roughhouse with, but still sweet enough to cuddle with. Chloe hasn’t had the easiest life, first she was abandoned at birth, then later hit by a car, but she recovered and didn’t have any lasting issues. Chloe will steal your heart when she gives you kisses, because she snorts just like a piglet after each kiss. This is a dog that loves physical activity, especially fetching, she will fetch anything. Chloe is very well behaved, potty & crate trained, responds to commands, walks well on a leash. Chloe loves human contact, she will cuddle up with you to watch T.V., and will even look for a hug before meals. Because Chloe loves her human so much, she doesn't want to share with another dog, also because she likes to roughhouse, small children are out of the question because she could knock them over. Chloe has been fully vetted, spayed, & microchipped, and we believe she would be the perfect dog to complete any family. Please help sweet Chloe find her furever home. For more information or to adopt Chloe, please contact her foster directly at 832-597-9811. Thank you!
Houston Homeless Pet Project ("HHPP")is a core group of dedicated dog rescue volunteers who, between us, have over 50 years of experience in rescue in the Houston metro area. We are the rescue of last resort for those good Samaritans who find homeless dogs and are just trying to help. We are also the rescue of last resort for those hopeless animals that find themselves out of time at local shelters. We provide rescue care, rehabilitative services, foster care and adoption placement to abandoned and stray dogs in the Houston metro area. HHPP is an all-volunteer, foster based rescue. We don't have a shelter and rely on foster homes to provide our rescues with warm, loving home environments until they can adopted by permanent families.
Our adoption events are held all over Houston. Please visit our website at www.hhpprescue.org under the Upcoming Events tab to see where we'll be next.
Our Adoption Process...
1. Complete an Adoption Application 2. Include veterinarian information and two personal references 3. A home visit is scheduled 4. A meet and greet is scheduled so your new family member can meet the rest of the family 5. If the meet and greet goes well, the adoption contract is signed and the adoption fee is paid.
Adoption fees are $200 for adult dogs and $250 for puppies one year and less.
