Mike's Story...
Up for adoption: Mike

He can be adopted in Texas, New England and the Northern East Coast/Mid Atlantic.

Mike is about 35 pounds and 6 months old, and is a total love bug! He has a gorgeous black coat with some white on his chest, and a cute underbite. He is quick to bond with his people and gets along very well with other dogs. He loves to snuggle and is definitely a lap dog! He also loves to play catch, and lounge outside. Mike would probably do best without cats. He is very motivated to please his people, and is easy to train. He is crate trained, but enjoys sleeping with his people at night. He has an amazing overall temperament and is good with kids as well!

Mike is neutered, microchipped & fully vaccinated. If you would like to make Mike a member of your family, please apply at www.luckylabrescue.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mike, a Brattleboro Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Brattleboro, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Brattleboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brattleboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brattleboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brattleboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
