This pretty 3 year old black and tan female German Shepherd was unlucky enough to find herself as a stray in Moreno Valley, CA where she ended up in the local animal shelter. But her luck changed when she caught our eye. This lovely young lady is loaded with energy and would love a family that is ready, willing and able to stimulate both mind and body. Lexy would be great for an active family that likes to hike and spend time out doors. She would even be good working in agility or some other active sport to keep her challenged.
Lexy is not a dog for the first time shepherd owner. She needs someone that understands the needs of a sharp, active young mind and is willing to work with her to become the wonderful companion she was meant to be. She is crate trained, house trained and gets along with other dogs upon proper introduction. She would do better with a larger male than with a female dog as she does like to be queen of her castle and can be intimidating with her rambunctious play style.
Lexy is UTD, spayed, microchipped and current on flea/tick and HW preventatives. Adoption fee $400
