Alexis's Story...
Hello there, I am Alexis. I am a grey and white tabby domestic short hair gal. I am a young gal at only 3months old. I was found by a stranger dirty, skinny and a stray when I was brought to the shelter. The volunteers having been taking great care of me as I have gained weight and my coat is all clean now. I love to play with my toys and chase the other kitties in our kennel at the shelter. I am curious to my surroundings and would love to adventure and solve my curiosity in a home of my own. I like being petted and purr when shown attention. My adoption fee of $95 is very inclusive – I am neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped, wormed, tested negative for Feline Leukemia and FIV and I am current on monthly Frontline. Please consider making me part of your family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alexis, a Hawk Point Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Hawk Point, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Hawk Point.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hawk Point already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hawk Point breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hawk Point paves the way for another one to be saved.
