Caleb's Story...
08-15-16. Sweet sweet Caleb is homeless because his owner passed away
He is around 8 years old and likes other dogs. Because he's had a quiet life with an older couple that's what we're looking for a home without small children where he can get lots of love and attention. He's in good health, just got neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines
For the short time he's been with us he's been very sweet and loving. We're told that he was originally house trained but as his owners health declined they were unable to take him outside as much so he may need a refresher course.

Please go to our website and fill out an application
www.northmeckanimalrescue.org

Our adoption fee $175 includes spay/neuter, parvo/distemper series of shots, rabies if dog is old enough, bordatello, heartworm preventative while here, worming, and microchipping.

We appreciate your patience as our volunteer-only team reviews your application and updates our website.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Caleb, a Charlotte Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Charlotte, or seeking a Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Charlotte.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Charlotte already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Charlotte breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Charlotte paves the way for another one to be saved.
