Boo (aka Boop)'s Story...
My official name is Boo, but some of my friends call me "Boop." Why "Boop"? So, what’s the technical term for when a human takes his or her finger and lightly taps the nose of a feline? That is called a “boop.” My nickname refers to that affectionate gesture. I’m described by my FOHA volunteer friends as “7 pounds of sweetness.” I was shy upon first arriving here, but with gentle pets and a “boop” or two, I immediately warmed up and started purring and even chatting. I simply love being loved. Hard to believe that I was picked up as a stray cat by Animal Control. I’m ready to find my forever home where I can share all of my love, talk up a storm, and receive my fair share of gentle, loving “boops.”

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Boo (aka Boop), a Aldie Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Aldie, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Aldie.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Aldie already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Aldie breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Aldie paves the way for another one to be saved.
