To start our adoption process, please fill out our form on our web site at: www.spokanewienerdogs.org and see the Adopt a Dog/Fee page with more details on how we adopt our dogs. There are a lot of questions answered on our web site and personality details below about each dog BELOW so please READ BEFORE getting in touch. We already answer 500+ emails a day. We do answer questions on dogs once our adoption paperwork is filled in so we can match to the right homes.
Please indicate which dog you are interested in on our adoption form. If their name says pending home then they are NOT available and are on a test drive with a new family. We do remove our dogs when our adoptions are final so please do not ask us if dogs are available if you see their ads.
There is an adoption fee of $350 for this dog.
Precious came to rescue because a family member died and no one could keep her. She also has some mild food allergy issues, but we have her on the right food so now her ear infection and coat issues are clearing up nicely,
We are guessing she is about 4 to 5 years old as we did not have any past paperwork on her. She is a small tweenie sized girl about 13 pounds so a bit bigger than a mini which are 7 to 11 pounds.
In a few short months she will be a whole new dog in life now that she is eating the right allergy food and we will help folks to send some food home as well as which brands will work best. In Precious' new home she will still need medicated shampoo baths for about a month and she will need to finish her meds for her allergies. Also, she can't be with any family member who will sneak her treats and will not keep her on a strict diet for her health. So this girl will need an adult home is best for her as some children just can't understand that feeding a dog the wrong thing could literally kill them slowly.
At some point someone cut off a lot of her hair so she is a medium length dog instead of a longhaired.
The good news is Precious is as sweet as they come. She loves people and other dogs. I am still testing her on cats.
This is a very nice girl and will make someone a wonderful new family member if they can keep her on her allergy food.
