Troy is a 1 1/2 year old boy who was bounced around to 4 different homes before landing as a stray in a large municipal shelter. One of his previous owners was identified and he had all good to say about Troy - that he even lived with a bunny - but that he wasn't able to keep him because of housing issues and he gave him to family who have him to someone else who we guess let him go. :( He came to our attention after he sat for 5 months in shelter as a fairly mellow dog who tested good with dogs and with cats!! He is now in our foster program and he is doing so great. He is his happiest when playing with toys, he loves them all, he can squeak away on a squeaky for hours (watch his video) and loves to play fetch and tug. He loves taking walks and is one of the best leash walkers we've ever met. He knows basic commands including paw which is adorable, sit and down. He is GREAT with other dogs and cats in his foster home! He is a strikingly handsome boy with an athletic body and a gentle and easygoing demeanor. He is not a cuddler but he likes to be with you and lean close against you and to have his but and ears scratched! Troy is a catch!! He can live in homes with kids 12+. Contact us for an application.
