Meet KENNA! This darling girl is a 2 year old, female, 15 lb Pomeranian / Chihuahua mix. Kenna is an absolute LOVE!!! She is great with other dogs, good with people, and soooooooo sweet! She is not high energy and loves to snuggle or just hang out. Kenna is content just being with her family. She is playful and happy and fun, but in a low-key kind of way. Because of this, she would prefer a home with older children (12 and up). Kenna is house-trained and knows "sit" and "wait". We are currently working on "watch me", which does come in handy while on a walk. Kenna needs a confident person, as she is reactive on a leash when she sees another dog and will bark. As long as she knows that you "got this", she is fine on her walks, but it will take some work in the beginning. Otherwise, she plays well with other dogs at daycare, lives with another dog, and is fine with canine visitors. Her ideal home would not be in the city or an apartment building. A backyard would be great, too! Ultimately, Kenna is a doll! She is a lover and a snuggler and fun and truly just super sweet! Her precious little face will make you melt!!! Not kidding! UGH! She is just one of those dogs that a foster home wants to keep, but they know that they can save another life when she gets adopted. Kenna is sure to find her Forever Family soon, so put in your application right away, so you can be the lucky one...!

NOTE: We do NOT adopt out of state. Our range is no further than 50 miles from Chicago. This is because we PERSONALLY do home visits for every single dog / puppy. Exceptions ONLY in certain cases where a sweetie has issues (medical / behavioral / special needs) and we have had him / her for a longer time. We will then travel to the Moon for a Forever Family!
