Lily's Story...
Sweet and adorable lily here! I am a lucky lady who was rescued along with my two pups from the streets of Puerto Rico. Its hard to say exactly what I am but the folks here say I look like a Boston terrier/retriever. My boys and I lived in a foster home where there was other dogs, cats and our foster mom reported that we got along great with everyone! I am a lovely lady that would make the perfect addition to any family. Think I could be a match for you? Stop by and visit with me today! Because Lily is an adult rescue we recommend a home with children 10 and up.
Before making the trip to visit the shelter we strongly recommend checking our website for information on adoption policies and procedures. Please understand that because we are a busy place and because so many animals need our care and attention, adoptions are on a first come basis and no animal will be put on hold. To inquire about a pet's availability or for more information, we encourage you to visit our shelter in person. Due to the high volume of interest, email and phone inquiries may not be returned on a daily basis. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to your visit! www.capeannanimalaid.org, 978-283-6055 ex 10 for reception desk.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lily, a Gloucester Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Gloucester, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Gloucester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gloucester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gloucester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gloucester paves the way for another one to be saved.
