Arfur Miller's Story...
Arfur Miller is a special boy looking for a very special person to give him a forever home. Arfur is 6 years 12 pounds of sweet innocence. Born deaf and blind, he needs an owner with a big heart to guide him through his little life, carry him outside to potty. Arfur would love -- and so deserves -- his own human to hang out with. Please reach out and/or submit an application to adopt at www.almosthomerescue.org. Some sections are specific to the dachshund breed. Please answer those as you would about any small dog. Arfur Miller's adoption fee is $125 to help rescue

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Arfur Miller, a Andalusia Chihuahua/Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Rat Terrier for sale in Andalusia, or seeking a Chihuahua/Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Andalusia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Andalusia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Andalusia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Rat Terrier breeders who help with Chihuahua/Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Andalusia paves the way for another one to be saved.
