Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hunter is a compact beagle boy who is fully grown at 9 months. His weight is just under 20 pounds which is perfect for his 13-inch frame. This wonderful little guy is in his third home, but he hasn’t let that get him down. He lost his first home due to being too noisy for a condo. What did they expect out of a pup left alone all day? His second home had wrought iron fencing which was no challenge for a boy with a beagle nose and skinny body! HBHR promised him a beagle friendly home with a good strong fence!
Hunter is crate, house and dog door trained. He is in a foster home that has several young dogs and plenty of bones to chew on, so his house manners have been great. Hunter is just too busy to get into anything! He kennels well at meal time, but usually has the run of the house. He loves to play with the other ‘pups’ in the pack. He wrestles and plays chase with enthusiasm but dearly loves to play tug with someone bigger than him. He likes a good challenge! He is a happy go lucky guy who rarely barks, but does have a deep bay that he will use when someone won’t give up a treasure that he covets!
Hunter is a world class snuggler. He loves to cuddle up next to you when it is time for a nap. He has a very sweet nature and deserves a wonderful family that will give him years of love. Hunter needs an active family with people around more than not or at least have a canine companion to spend his days with. Please apply to adopt this great little man!
