Hello Humans! I’m Ajax! I am young, energetic, healthy, and would make a great companion for you if you’re athletic and enjoy running, hiking, being outdoors. I am crate and house trained so when we’re not together I’m a really good boy. I get along well with other dogs but I prefer the ones that are more my size since I can get a little pushy during playtime. I have good attention and am food motivated so when you train me I am confident I’ll do very well! I’m OK with cats but if they run from me, I’ll chase them. I am an Australian Shepherd / Catahoula Leopard Dog mix, about 45 pounds and was born approximately 2/1/16. I really want to find that special person to love and be loved by. Would you consider giving me my furever home? I promise lots of love in return!

About Hillcrest Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Hillcrest Animal Rescue is a 501c3, non-profit organization dedicated to saving as many homeless, neglected and abused animals as our resources allow. All of our rescues are placed in loving foster homes and receive thorough medical care. Each companion animal is heartworm tested and treated if positive; placed on monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention; altered and micro chipped. Every animal receives a full complement of vaccines depending on risk and immune status. Chronic pain is not acceptable with animals in our care. We will take whatever measures are necessary to ensure that all of our animals are living free of pain and disease. To summarize our belief in veterinary care, any animal at Hillcrest Rescue receives the same level of veterinary care as if she or he were the only animal we have.
