Meet zzStaley, a Min Pin/Terrier mix, about 4 years old, neutered, short/docked tail, 30 lbs. In good health, current on heart worm prevention and vaccinations.
zzStaley's original owner left Staley and his sister crated, alone, in an apt for 12-18 hours a day. Neighbors complained about them crying so the owner surrendered them both. The current foster responded to a Facebook plea and has had zzStaley since January.
zzStaley is vey smart. He knows sit and lay. A routine suits him best. He prefers to have his own plastic bowl (metal bowls frighten him) and his own eating area. He is very loving to the person he bonds. And is protective of everyone. When someone cries or yells he tries to figure out the aggressor and will bark/nip until the situation calms down. He is a protector. He is not aggressive with other animals or with people in general. zzStaley needs a calm loving home preferable without small children and maybe as an only dog. He is doggie door trained to potty outside. He would make a fantastic companion for a single woman or a couple without children or an older retired couple.
