Meet PHOENIX! He is a 5 year old all mixed up kind of breed dog. He weighs about 40 lbs and is one lucky guy! Another rescue group found him in eastern KY. He was hours away from euthanasia because he was a stray and he was heartworm positive. ADOPT ME! made the commitment to pull him into our program and treat the heartworm - which is in process now. We expect a full recovery. Other than that, he is a wonderful dog. He's been living in a great foster home and behaving like a perfect gentleman. Another cast away that someone, at some point really loved. He's a great size, he's fine with other dogs and cats and would be fine with kids.
