My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! I'm Pocket. I'm a 2-year-old male Chihuahua mix, weighing in at a whopping 7 pounds. I'm a petite little man built for traveling! I'd love to join you on all of your adventures. I am already neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, so I'm all ready to go to my forever home.

I would describe myself as sweet, playful and super friendly. I try to make new friends everywhere I go. I just love people and I get along great with other dogs, too! I'm the total package - a tiny, adorable package!

One afternoon in August 2016, I was roaming the streets, when I saw a lady walking her dog. I was feeling lonely, and they seemed nice enough, so I ran up to them to introduce myself. Being the outgoing pup that I am, I jumped right into her arms! As luck would have it, she was a CageFree employee. She brought me to the city shelter to give my family a chance to come and pick me up, but no one showed up. Once it was determined that my previous family wasn't coming for me, CageFree pulled me from the shelter and brought me into the rescue pack.

Now I'm waiting patiently for my perfect forever family to come along. I'm looking for one that likes to play and cuddle, and will show me the unconditional love I've always deserved!
