Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Beautiful Rayne is a 9 year old, 15 pound bundle of sweetness! A calm and loving girl, Rayne loves children and other dogs.
Rayne would like a home where she could have a doggy pal as she very much enjoys the company of other dogs, especially dachshunds. Rayne has not been tested with kitties. Rayne loves to sleep in the big bed and she would like a home where she can continue to enjoy this privilege.
Rayne is a calm loving girl who do well with gentle children over the age of 7 years. Rayne is very gentle and loving. In her foster home in Texas, when she offered a treat, she will take it very gently from her foster moms hand. Rayne loves her foster dad and seems to seek out male humans when given the choice.
Rayne is house trained and potty pad trained but like all dachshunds she will need to be confident in her environment to have good potty habits. All rescue dogs go thru a period of adjustment so understanding and patience is important.
Rayne is leash trained and shows no food or toy aggression. She does not like a crate and does have some separation anxiety and would like a home where she did not have to be left alone for long periods of time. Rayne loves to be outside and she would love a home with a fenced yard and lots of nice walks.
Rayne is such a loving little girl. She is waiting for her happy tale of a forever home. Won't you make her dream come true?
