Orangino's Story...
Hi, my name is ORANGINO and I am a 3 year old HANDSOME boy with piercing GREEN eyes and BEAUTIFUL long FLUFFY fur in a LIGHT GINGER color. I’m currently living in foster care and the following has been said about me. ORANGINO is such a CUTIE! He’s so WELL-MANNERED. He’s fairly INDEPENDENT, yet he’s SOCIAL when there are people in the house. As a matter of fact, he likes someone to keep him company when he eats his meals. He comes when his name is called and will follow his human around the house like a dog. He will sleep on the bed at night or in his cat bed next to the window. He’s PLAYFUL and is OK with other CATS, but definitely likes his own space where he can relax and take a little snooze. Orangino or “GINO” as he prefers to be called, is hoping to find a home asap. Arrange to meet him. He is neutered, UTD on shots, and FIV/FeLV negative.

To meet me, fill out the CAT ADOPTION APPLICATION at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Orangino, a Long Beach Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Long Beach, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Long Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Long Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Long Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Long Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
