Freda found herself at a county animal control. She is super outgoing and social, but according their policy, she had a strike against her: she was FIV+. Sadly, they are not allowed to adopt out FIV kitties. But they knew exactly who to call: Good Mews! We have no such policy and we also have no problem finding loving homes for our FIV cats. We have done our homework and we know FIV is no big deal! So we gladly took this little talker in.

Yes, Freda is a talker! She knows what she likes and she does not hesitate to tell you all about it. She’s hungry? You better believe you will hear about it. She wants some attention? Don’t even try to walk by her without giving her the attention she is asking for. She’s ready to snuggle? When she starts telling you, you better sit down and be prepared to be loved on.

Freda is very social and once in a home, we think she will be even more outgoing. She will have someone’s undivided attention then, so she will probably come up with a lot more to say!

Freda is FIV+, but don’t let that scare you! FIV+ cats can live long and healthy lives. They can also live safely with FIV negative cats. FIV is spread through severe bite wounds, so it is important that your kitties get along. To learn more about FIV, please read the articles under the Advice tab on the website.
