Starkey's Story...
Hi there, my name is Starkey. I’m a Aussie mix that has been through extensive training with K9 Offleash and would love to meet you and show off my skills.

I love to give hugs and I am very affectionate with my owners. Strangers used make me a little nervous but I’m learning to trust everyone again.

I am neutered and up to date on all my vaccinations. My adoption fee is only $250 and comes with a 2-week trial period and a refresher course with K9 Offleash.

If you would like to meet me, please contact No Hound Unhomed at 719-244-2208 or come meet me at Camp Bow Wow Colorado Springs Central.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Starkey, a Colorado Springs Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in Colorado Springs, or seeking a Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Colorado Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colorado Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colorado Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colorado Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
