Here's what the humans have to say about me:
April is a darling 6 month old puppy! She was rescued from the Ft. McDowell Indian Reservation. Out there she hadn't been treated very nicely by people, so she needs a kind family who is willing to spend some time helping her learn that people won't hurt her. We've rescued lots of dogs like April, and they always turn out to be wonderful family dogs when given love and patience. She seems like a lab mix, but with smaller ears and forehead wrinkles like a Shar pei. She is currently about 34 lbs and will probably be around 55-60lbs when full grown. April absolutely loves other dogs, and being shy it is a good idea for her to have another nice, friendly dog in the house as a positive role model! She also needs a yard, as she is not the type of dog to do well in an apartment. April is a really good puppy and she is going to be a great dog! She is very smart. She was housebroken and crate-trained in just two days! Adoption fee for April is $200, and she is already spayed, micro-chipped, and has received her rabies and DAPP puppy vaccinations. If you are interested in meeting April, please email Delon.Washo@asu.edu or text your email address to 602-295-4518 and let us know that you are interested in filling out an application on April.
AZ Prussian Snailhound Dog Rescue would like to remind everyone that puppies are a big commitment and require a lot of attention. Puppies often exhibit undesirable behaviors such as chewing and digging. Of course they also are a lot of fun and are very lovable too. When choosing a puppy please consider how much time you will be able to spend training and socializing your new puppy.
