Update: November 7th----Just recently Athena has made a remarkable breakthrough. She has started seeking out attention, head bumping her foster mommy, and purring like crazy! It's like it all finally clicked for her. This is extremely rewarding, to see a cat so formerly petrified of people learn to trust and love. Athena can only get better from this point. Would YOU like to continue this beautiful girl's story of success in your home?
Athena is a gorgeous little girl. We believe that Phoenix is her sister. They came into SOS as part of a huge rescue near a local golf course. We trapped over 25 kittens from one property, most being very thin and sick with upper respiratory and eye infections. After over a month in foster, these beautiful kittens are so happy to be safe and sound indoors, not scrounging for their next meal. Athena is a little more shy than her sister, but all are making excellent progress. Visit All our beautiful kittens and cats at Burton's or PetSmart on the weekends!
