Starting over is not easy for anyone, but especially when you are a bit older. Seems my previous owners thought older doggies were not the best…. But what do they know... I may be a bit grey around the muzzle, but I am quite outgoing, and really am just the sweetest elderly gent who loves life and has a heart full of love…. If I were younger, I could definitely get “Best in Show”. I may not hear as well as I once did… but that doesn’t stop me… and it shouldn’t stop you… being “more mature” I’ve got a pretty good idea how things go and what to do… so am sure we’ll have absolutely no problem understanding each other… I’m laid back…love a brushing (could sit for hours having that done…just lettin’ ya know) and this old tail of mine… well, let’s just say it is one of those perpetual motion tails… just keeps on waggin’…
If a senior would like to adopt me, well, the Tehama County Animal Care Center in Red Bluff, CA (where I’m staying) has a smoking deal on my adoption fee! So why not call 530-527-3439 and hear all about what a winner I am… or maybe you can share my story with all your friends, maybe one of them would not mind helping me start over, I’d really like that… and of course you for helping me! Ever-faithful and friendly WINSTON… with the grey beard and active tail!
