My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chelsea is a tiny 14 pound Shih Tzu-Maltese mix with long legs. She had to be shaved short because she arrived at animal control with lots of mats in her hair. Chelsea's former owner tried to cut her hair, and in the process, cut Chelsea several times. When we first got her, Chelsea was very jumpy and shy. Since then, she has blossomed into a loving pooch and she really wants to be loved in return.

Chelsea is labeled a no kids dog because she is a little shy around new people. Chelsea loves to play with other dogs and is not destructive when left home alone.

We think Chelsea will do best in an adult only home. We don't know what her story was before animal control, but it is developing into one with a happy ending now that she has been rescued. Chelsea wants someone to love her and treat her the way she should be treated for the rest of her life.

Chelsea has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and tested negative for heartworms. Her adoption fee is $250.00.
