Sawyer's Story...
Hello from Texas! My name is Sawyer and i'm looking for a home with a family that likes to go for walk\s and throw me sticks. I'm iust under a year old so I'm still a puppy and like to play. I'm pretty smart as I already can walk nicely on a leash and know to potty outside. I love hanging out in my crate after a good game of fetch, or curling up on the couch and snuggling. I was found as a stray with my sister in the flooding here in Texas, but no one came to look for me so I was lucky to land with a rescue group that helps dogs like me find great homes out of Texas. My foster mom says I am awesome and great with her dogs, both big and small. She says that I am very savvy and know how to play well with others, and let the big guys be the boss. Well, gosh, that is just how it is supposed to be. I have not met any cats yet, so I don't know if they are fun to chase or not, but I am young and with patience, I bet I could be their friend too. I'm about 50 pounds and might get up to 60 pounds when I fill out, but I am not a jumper and I like kids. I would like to have some kids to throw sticks to me and play. If I sound like the fun loving guy that you have been looking for give SAVE Rescue a chance to tell you more about me, XQXQ Sawyer.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sawyer, a Seattle Labrador Retriever/Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Australian Shepherd for sale in Seattle, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Seattle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Seattle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Seattle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Seattle paves the way for another one to be saved.
