This nice child friendly cocker boy had heartworm treatment and a good recovery. He will do best with children 6 and older. He needs a home with a playful, dog social pal that he can have fun with and spend quality time with you too. He is easy going, friendly, active and just a sweet guy to love.
My name is Sam 2. I am a sweet, friendly 4 year old, black n white tri-colored cocker boy. A girl cocker named Mocha and I came to rescue from an owner who badly, neglected our vet needs, was unable to care for us financially and animal control was going to step in to get us. She asked for rescue help and CCR drove to SC to get us.
We were both taken directly to the rescue vet where they checked us over and found that I have had chronic neglected ears for quite some time and they were in awful shape. Several medicines were needed to treat them and I had to be treated for fleas too. I needed a dental, I had a cherry eye tacking done and I was neutered. I was also treated for hookworms, and an ear infection. I tested postive for heartworms and needed treatment to get well. I have had a good recovery and I am ready to find a home. My ear issues are much better. I will need a secure fenced yard and you will always need to keep me on a leash, as I am a runner if given the opportunity to get away from you. I love to play, so a dog social, playful pal to hang out with and have fun would be great. I am an easy going, fun cocker boy and I will be a wonderful companion for you to adopt and love. I am child friendly with children 6 and older. Please give me a 2nd chance to have the home that I deserve. Fill out an application with my name on it to be approved.
