Ruxin's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Ruxin's Story...
We love Ruxin! This guy is so handsome and friendly. He's a large dog and we think some sort of Plott Hound/Lab mix. He is absolutely stunning in person and has a great personality to match his good looks. Ruxin loves to meet new people and is all about the pets, laps and kisses! Ruxin also does great with his kennel mate and has a blast doing zoomies and play bows around the yard. As you can see, Ruxin is even adventurous enough to take a little swim in the play pool too.

If you're looking for a happy, affectionate, playful dog- THIS is the one for you! You can visit 4 yr old Ruxin in E building at the West Valley Animal Care Center at 2500 S. 27th Ave., Phx. Hours are 11-6 Mon-Fri and 11-5 Sat & Sun. If you have a dog from home, bring them in and we can help you make sure everyone gets along. Ruxin's $20 adoption fee includes neuter, rabies certificate and County license.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ruxin, a Phoenix Plott Hound/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Plott Hound/Labrador Retriever for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Plott Hound/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Plott Hound/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Plott Hound/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
