Honey's Story...
Honey was found on the side of the road in new Hampton New York a couple of months to go rummaging on the side of the road. It was obvious that she had been abandoned. Upon visiting the vet they noted when they went to spay her that she had been bred heavily, and it turned out she also had to mammary tumors. Someone was watching over honey as she recently had surgery to remove the tumors and it was found she does not have cancer. She is about six years of age and needs a special family and somebody it will care for her for the rest of her life. One of the sweetest dogs that has come to our shelter doors and not a mean bone in her body.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Honey, a Goshen Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Goshen, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Goshen.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Goshen already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Goshen breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Goshen paves the way for another one to be saved.
