Shelby is a Great Pyrenees/Husky mix and weighs 15 pounds. We believe she will be a large dog when grown. Shelby is up to date on her shots and worming. She is a sweet girl with a friendly disposition. Great Pyrenees are majestic looking dogs with a kindly, regal expression which can be seen in this sweet girl already. The free spirit of a husky and wandering lust of the Pyrenees make them prone to have a tendency to explore if given the opportunity so it is very important to keep a close eye on them when outside. The temperament of this mix is easy going and mellow and give unconditional love to their family. They make great family dogs and will be a wonderful addition to any family. Pyrenees were bred for jobs that require decision making (herding livestock) so they need to exercise their brains. Interactive toys, sports and agility activities would be good for them. This type of dog will be good with a people who enjoy being outdoors and those interested in training their dog to be in high energy sports like agility.
