Steve's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and good with dogs.

Steve's Story...
Steve is a 4 to 5 year old Schnauzer Mix. He is fantastic on a leash and loves his walks. He is house trained and crate trained. Steve loves to lie down and chill in little protective nooks. He can get fussy/growling if not picked up in an appropriate way but he is otherwise a very sweet dog who loves attention.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Steve, a Monrovia Schnauzer (Miniature)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Miniature)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Monrovia, or seeking a Schnauzer (Miniature)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Monrovia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Monrovia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Monrovia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Miniature)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Schnauzer (Miniature)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Monrovia paves the way for another one to be saved.
