Minnie's Story...
Hi, my name is Minnie. I am a very special kitty who has been waiting for my forever home since April 2016. I am 10months old. I am a very playful and curious kitty. I love to play with balls that jingle and pretty much anything. I get along well with both other cats and dogs. So why you ask is such a jewel like myself still waiting for my forever home? I am timid with people at get scared easily. Therefore, a home with kids would not be good for me. Also, it is essential that I am kept INDOOR ONLY. I also need someone who is patient that will wait for me to warm up to them. I’m not a lap kitty and prefer to entertain you with my playful antics. For an adoption application contact Katie at whisperinwillowz@gmail.com

The adoption fee is $65 which covers all the vet work that has been done including Feline Leukemia and FIV Test plus for kittens their spay/neuter when old enough. For more information or an adoption application please contact

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Minnie, a North Wilkesboro Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in North Wilkesboro, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in North Wilkesboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Wilkesboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Wilkesboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Wilkesboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
